ANDREAS NIKIFORIDIS
Group Legal Affair Director Family Office, Alexandrion Group
Andreas Nikiforidis is responsible for overseeing all legal, regulatory, compliance and corporate governance matters as well as the Group’s global legal operations and regulatory affairs. His role also includes providing legal counsel to the Chairman and the Board of Directors of the Group. He joined Alexandrion Group in 2019, as Head of the Legal Department.
Andreas has over 15 years of legal experience with top-tier law firms, having served in senior positions for 7 years for one Big Four company. He is a seasoned, business-focused legal executive with a strong business and corporate acumen. Andreas has a long-standing experience in client and vendor contracts, drafting and negotiation, corporate governance, and regulatory issues.
He holds a Master of Law degree in International European and Business law from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PHD) in law degree from the Craiova University, Romania.
ANTONIO SALAMEH
Executive Director for International Operations, Alexandrion Group
Antonio Salameh, as the Executive Director for International Operations at Alexandrion Group, plays a crucial role in driving the company’s global commercial activities. Born into the Salameh family, he brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the business, having been involved in the group from a young age.
Antonio’s responsibilities encompass a broad spectrum within Alexandrion Group, focusing particularly on coordinating global commercial activities in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing departments. He is involved in brand building, crafting effective marketing strategies, and optimizing sales mixes to enhance brand recognition and drive business growth. His leadership is pivotal in identifying and seizing distribution opportunities in key markets, while ensuring profitability and sustainable growth across the company’s international footprint.
Antonio Salameh’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Management from Loyola Marymount University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Long Island University. His academic achievements complement his practical experience, underscoring his capability to navigate and lead in the competitive landscape of international business.
Nicholas S. Kass
Executive Director for International Corporate Affairs, Alexandrion Group
Nicholas S. Kass is responsible for international corporate affairs at the Alexandrion Group. He has over 30 years of foreign policy experience with the United States Government as an award-winning analyst, collector, diplomat, policy manager, and leader.
He was Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations at the U.S. Department of State (2020-2021), and twice Director for European Affairs (2019-2020, 1999-2001) and Director of Intelligence Programs (2006-2008) at the White House/National Security Council. As Deputy Political Counselor (2001-2003) and Political Officer (1995-1998) at the U.S. Embassy in Ankara, Turkey, Mr. Kass was the Mission’s point officer for developing key relationships with leading politicians, activists, academics, and military and religious leaders.

Mr. Kass holds a J.D. from the Columbus School of Law, Catholic University of America, a Master of Arts in Government from Georgetown University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from DePaul University.
Mihai Gligor
Executive Manager,
Fundaţia Alexandrion
Mihai Gligor is the Executive Manager of the Alexandrion Foundation – part of the Family Office group structure, with responsibilities that entail the overseeing of the operations of our Group’s Foundation and providing support to the International Affairs and Corporate Department. He joined Alexandrion Group in 2021.
Mihai has 20 years of management experience in the film & entertainment industry, having managed both multi-million-dollar budget projects as well as zero-based budget start-up concepts and teams as large as 250 professionals. International film festivals, large conferences with multiple panels and networking programs, film studios, film development and film premieres range among these projects. Some of Mihai’s prior positions include: Managing Director of S’YA Concept, Director of Sales and Business Development at the Bucharest Film Studios, Guest Service Manager. He quickly became the Managing Director of the Doha Tribeca Film Festival, a partnership between Robert De Niro’s Tribeca Enterprise and the Royal Family of Qatar’s Doha Film Institute, Festival Manager for the Transylvania International Film Festival, and Operational Manager at the Chicago International Film Festival.
Mihai holds a degree in business management, being specialized in accounting, from the Babes-Bolyai University, in Cluj, Romania.
STELIOS SAVVA
Group Business Development Director, Alexandrion Group
Stelios Savva has been Alexandrion Group’s Business Development Director since January 2022. He is working closely with the Founding Chairman, Mr. Nawaf Salameh, to implement the strategic goals of the Group. He joined Alexandrion Group in 2008 and has held different positions, including Group CEO for more than 3 years, Group CFO, Vice-President, Operations Director and Commercial Director.
Stelios has more than 25 years of experience in commercial, business, financial and management roles in different industries, including wines and spirits, renewable energy, shipping, hospitality, automotive and construction materials. He has dealt with design, implementation and completion of new projects, reorganisation and restructuring of companies, opening of new markets and development of new products.
Stelios Savva holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University UK. He is a fellow member of ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), and a member of the EACTP (European Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals).
DAVID CARSTENS
Executive Director for Global Security and Business Intelligence
David Carstens leads the Security Department as the Executive Director for Global Security and Business Intelligence since October 2023. His areas of responsibility encompass the United States, Romania, Brazil, Cyprus, Greece, and the UAE. In this role, he is responsible for global asset protection with a focus on physical security, information security, cyber security, and insider threat identification. He plays a pivotal role in setting the conditions for global growth and business development by managing targeted business intelligence efforts that provide the Chairman with timely, accurate, relevant, and predictive information.
From 2018 to 2023, David Carstens worked at the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest as a U.S. government civilian, serving as the Chief of the Military Liaison Office (MLO). In this capacity, he was instrumental in coordinating bi-lateral military-to-military and security activities between U.S. Army Europe and Africa and the Romanian Ministry of National Defence.
David Carstens’ exemplary career and leadership in security and intelligence have made significant contributions to global security and the enhancement of international military cooperation.
SELCUK SENKAYA
Group Chief Operating Officer
Selcuk Senkaya serves as the Group Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the operations of all companies within the Group since February 2024. He is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic financial and general management within the banking and services sectors.
Throughout his career, Selcuk has held various executive positions in banking institutions, where he was instrumental in implementing banking strategies and products. He ensured the efficient management of the divisions he coordinated and regularly communicated essential information from upper management or other entities to his team to support their daily activities.
With over 20 years of experience in the operational and financial environment, Selcuk possesses excellent skills in verifying and interpreting financial analyses performed by credit analysts, both historical and predictive, ensuring the correctness and plausibility of future development scenarios.
Selcuk graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest. He also holds an Executive MBA from ASEBUSS, organized in partnership with the prestigious Georgia State University in Atlanta, USA.
ARIS GKOGKOS
Family Property Portfolio Manager
Aris Gkogkos is the Family Property Portfolio Manager and a key consultant of Mr. Nawaf Salameh in Renewable Energy projects. Since 2018, Aris has been managing various sectors of Alexandrion Group’s businesses, including energy projects, real estate, and the Salameh Family’s agricultural portfolio.
Aris Gkogkos is a highly experienced executive with a diverse background in financial services, consultancy, and portfolio management. His expertise spanned real estate transactions, fleet management services, retail stores, online and wholesale trading, consumer credits, digital marketing solutions, IT applications, children and family entertainment services, and LED-based energy efficiency applications. Additionally, he was involved in corporate governance and corporate strategy planning within various organizational structures.
Aris holds an impressive academic background with a joint Master of Science (MSc) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management Science and Operational Research from Warwick Business School, UK. He also earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece.
Rim Daoud
Vice-President of the Alexandrion Foundation
Rim Daoud, Vice-President of the Alexandrion Foundation, is strongly involved in the projects and initiatives of the Foundation , overseeing all its activities since its set-up in 2003. Three of the major projects organized by the Foundation annually in which Mrs. Daoud has a substantial role are the Constantin Brâncoveanu Awards and Matei Brâncoveanu Gala Awards, as well as the Alexandrion Trophies Gala.
She is also constantly involved in activities dedicated to the community, both in Romania and abroad. Every year Mrs. Daoud supports organizing fundraisers in collaboration with the Church of St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus in Bucharest, to cover the needs of various hospitals and social centers managed by the Church.
She is also involved in the community and charity projects developed by the Lebanese Saint Charbel Church – Dimineni (Ilfov county).
A project that Mrs. Rim Daoud holds dear as it helps her maintain a close connection with her origins, with the place where her grandmother and her father were born and raised, is the construction of a school in the village of Mashta Al Helou, in the Tartouse region of Syria, which Mrs Daoud has been supporting along with other benefactors . Around 200 children are already studying there, in the kindergarten and primary school which are part of the unit.
Moreover, as a member of the Mashta Al Helou Cultural Center Association (Syria), she supports the implementation of initiatives for underprivileged children: dance classes, drawing, organizing an annual festival.
Mrs. Rim Daoud holds a degree in Economics from the University of Damascus, Syria.
